Horst Miebach ZeroMark Countersink and Plug Hole Boring System
The Horst Miebach Company is a maker of premium quality drill bits in Germany. Miebach's Colt bits are known as much for being highly innovative in design, as for their high quality. The Colt ZeroMark is a combination bit that drills a plug hole, a countersink, and a the screw hole, all with one operation. The Colt ZeroMark utilizes an adjustable depth stop that is attached to the bit via ball bearings, which allows the depth stop to stop rotating when it contacts the work piece, thus avoiding the marking of the work piece surface that is typical of other competitive designs. The pilot drill and depth stop are both fully adjustable.
