Wood is Good
Urethane Headed Woodworking Mallets
Mallets come in all shapes and sizes. Traditionally, woodworking mallets have wooden heads, but we have found that the Wood is Good Company urethane headed mallets are actually our favorite mallets for traditional woodworking. All of us here use the Wood is Good urethane headed mallets at home and we all love them. So, unless you are a total purist, our pick for the traditional woodworker is actually one of these Wood is Good Company Urethane headed mallets. The urethane head will not damage handles like other mallet materials will, and the urethane tends to give the chisel more of push than a jolt, which is more effective and easier on the blade edge.
