Pozidriv screws utilize a patented head design, which is very similar to the design of conventional phillips screws, but differs in that the drive edges are not angled. This has the advantage that a Pozidriv screwdriver is far less likely to slip in the head of a matching Pozidriv screw. Joseph Marples Pozidriv screwdrivers are made with fine English beech handles and high-grade Sheffield steel blades.
