SAJI Japanese Kitchen Knives
Hammered Aogami Super clad steel blade consisting of blue-paper super steel core and stainless steel outer layers. Aogami-super steel (blue-paper super steel) is well known as one of the best steel materials for kitchen knive blade, i.e. superior in hardness, durability and cutting performance compared to standard blue-paper steel. Blade hardness is HRC 65 minimum. The handles are black micarta. Packaged in a cardboard presentation box.
Note that the core is not stainless steel and will rust without proper care.
Hot-forged 32-layer nickel-stainless steel blade. SG-2 powder metal stainless steel core. Blade hardness is HRC 64 minimum. Ironwood handles with mosaic center rivets. Packaged in a wooden presentation gift box.
