The Mundial fully forged knives have been made in Brazil for over 70 years. The company was founded in Germany in 1931 by noted metallurgist Paul Zivi. He later emigrated to Brazil with a team of engineers and designers skilled in the most sophisticated techniques for manufacturing high-end cutlery. Today, every Mundial product is produced under a rigorous quality control program that spans the entire manufacturing process, from the development of the steel to the final polishing. Upon completion, every Mundial knife is individually tested to ensure sharpness, precision and durability.
