Each distinctive piece of TimberGrass Bamboo kitchenware is handcrafted by laminating together hundreds of tiny flattened bamboo strips with special food safe glue. Timbergrass offers three grain types: Vertical, showing bamboo slats on edge; Flat, showing slats laid face up, highlighting the bamboo nodes; and End showing a cross section of the slats. TimberGrass Bamboo Cutting Boards are available in either natural or a deep caramel color that is achieved by a special stem-heating process that darkens the sugar compounds in bamboo. These are natural colors that won't fade or wash out. No stains or dyes are used.
