Beginning with the finest kiln dried hardwoods, over 100 separate construction and finishing operations are performed to create a Gerstner Chest. Features include:
- Hand Rubbed Lacquer Finish--every chest goes through three final finishing stages.
- Select Hardwoods & Veneers--all products are available in Golden Oak and natural walnut. The 92-XL series is also offered in American Cherry.
- Solid Heavy Duty Hardware--drawer pulls, corner mounts, carrying handles and locks are specially designed for a lifetime of service.
- Hand Fitted Drawers and Panels--each drawer is shaped, planed and fitted by hand, insuring smooth operation.
- Felt-Lined Drawers and Storage Compartments--these interiors provide special protection against moisture and abrasions
- Stop-Trac Drawer System--spring-loaded brass bullets prevent drawer spillage, yet allow for easy pull-out.
