This book was released in conjunction with a special exhibit on Southern furniture at Williamsburg's Wallace museum. The furniture and the photos in the book are excellent, but it is in all of the photos of construction details that this book excels. While much has been written about Northern furniture, few books on Southern furniture have been published. This book goes a long way to rectify that imbalance. Our strongest recommendation.
