This book was published in conjunction with the "Dublin Seminar for New England Folklife" in 1998. This book is the conference proceedings. Makes for very interesting reading. The emphasis is different that most of the furniture books that we sell, focusing more on makers and their way of life than on the details of the furniture. If you are interested in what life was like for a cabinetmaker, and what the business itself was like, you will enjoy this book. We certainly did.
