Quickly find the artist you are looking for without thumbing through pages of entries. Only know part of the artist's name? (e.g. B_en_l) Use the advanced search features to help find the artist you wouldn't otherwise be able to identify. You are also able to run searches where you do not know the artist's name at all. For example: You can search for all artists that painted pastoral scenes, or all artists born in Switzerland.
