This is another lavish book from the Antique Collector's Club publishers. If you are interested in Medieval furniture, you should get this book. Remember, the only medieval furniture surviving in any quantity is echlesiastic, so even if you are not interested in church furniture, it offers a vast store of information about the broader field of domestic furniture of the Medieval period. The book also includes some fabulous misericord photos, which since "The World Upside Down" book by Christa Grossinger has gone out of print, is about the only in print source of misericord pictures. I highly recommend this book to anyone who appreciates fine carving and woodwork.
