Chipstone is a museum in Wisconsin, and the base of operations for the Chipstone Foundation. Chipstone is reknown not only for the fabulous collection of a 18th Century American furniture, but also for the wealth of scholarly work that is being supported by the foundaton. The book is a heavy tome with its own posh slip case. Heavily subsidized by the foundation, this book would cost twice as much otherwise. A great book and a great value.
